Agenda:
Founders Day re-cap: Dave Fleck reported that we cleared about $600 at Founders Day, which included the silent auction and "Husker store". We finally used/sold the rest of the signature wines we had purchased last year. Discussion was held to increase attendance, and an email survey will be done by the Alumni office to find out reasons people don't attend. The caterer did a great job, and everyone was pleased with the food. Troy Hassebroek and Nate Welch were very entertaining as featured speakers.
Picnic: Date set for August 7, 2003 in Sertoma park. We will have surveys available there as well, because it is noted that we do not have the same crowds at both events. Mary will contact the NAA about a mailing.
Bus trip: Sept 13, 40 lucky fans will board the bus from Sioux Falls to Lincoln to watch the Penn State game. Ticket price will be $160 per person, which includes food, beverage, transportation, ticket and donation to the Scholarship fund. Spots will be sold on a "check received/spot reserved" basis. Contact Mary Dick for details. Tickets will be non-refundable.
License decals: Brooke continues to work on dealings with the state and NAA for alumni decals. We decided that there will be a question on the survey to determine interest in purchasing the decals before we order them.
KSOO: Joe will check with the radio station about Husker football coverage.
Newsletter: Several articles were not turned in, but Brooke has worked hard to put it together. She will put a notice about the bus trip and picnic before it is printed.
